With fifteen years moving through the ranks as a photographer at KSC / CreativeDrive, Ryan helped the boutique Florida studio grow from a twelve-person team into a 12-studio global operation. As Senior Photographer, he later led the photo department at their Columbus studio. When the parent company closed its doors in 2020, the clients' needs remained. So Ryan teamed up with Felicia to preserve those valued relationships and forge new ones under the MADFUN brand.
When he's not behind the camera, you can find Ryan hunting obscure vinyl, rare bottles of lambic, or desperately trying to replicate the latest food trends from the reels.

An Emmy Award-winning Creative Director from the world of broadcast television, Felicia is now the backbone of MADFUN Studios. She wears every hat imaginable here: Studio Manager, In-House Accountant, Curator of the Studio Schedule, and yes, Master Botanist. This place would literally fall apart without her.
If Felicia has pried herself from her computer you will either find her in her garden, on her bike, her paddle board, or her yoga mat.

How MADFUN got here
MMADFUN began in 2020, in a bare-bones warehouse previously used by the former tenants as a skate park. It had no bathroom, no A/C, no offices, and no storefront. Just a busted garage door, a hose spigot for water, and a single electrical outlet hanging randomly from the ceiling. For the first year, Ryan and Felicia found a way to make it work. They kept clients remote while outfitting the studio, bundling up in the winter and doing everything they could to avoid sweating on the product in the summer.
By the spring of 2021, the electricity was upgraded, the bathroom and kitchen were installed, the storefront was completed, and the office was built out. Finally able to host clients, their schedule quickly began to fill. Prop inventory, set-building elements, and rolls of seamless paper started accumulating.

It was apparent they would quickly outgrow the 1,500-square-foot studio space they had just spent the last year building. As they focused growth on location shoots, Ryan was kept out of the studio, sometimes traveling for weeks at a time. It was clear they needed a larger home for MADFUN.
In 2025, Ryan and Felicia stopped renting studio space and purchased a 1950s former Main Federal Savings & Loan on Columbus's east side. The 4,500-square-foot building features mid-century bones, high ceilings, and a studio floor that quadrupled their shooting space. New street signage went up, and the building is now the third member of the team.
MADFUN is now fully loaded. The new space features a commercial kitchen for food shoots, a beauty suite for hair and makeup, private dressing rooms, dedicated prop storage, and a full woodshop for set construction. To top it off, there is a bank vault converted into a custom tiki lounge, and there is still plenty of room for future growth.
